We all have times in life when our feelings can be distressing or inhibiting, or we may just want to gain a better understanding of ourselves.   Over time, we can also develop unhealthy ways of soothing difficult and painful feelings which in turn can contribute to our distress.


Psychotherapy involves sitting and talking. Sometimes this can feel difficult and painful so, in confidence, we will learn how to work together at a pace that is manageable for you.

By placing how you feel at the centre, psychotherapy can help you to make sense of what your mind and body are trying to communicate.  Through making this discovery together in a therapeutic relationship, you will be supported in the understanding and the embodiment of your feelings, becoming more confident about yourself and your relationships.
